Radisson Blu Riverside Hotel at Lindholmen
A hotel at Lindholmen has been on many wish lists for quite some time. As property development company Älvstranden Utveckling now wraps up negotiations with Skanska and Winn, construction is ready to begin.
The hotel will be located next to Lindholmspiren and will be known as the Radisson Blu Riverside Hotel. In addition to 266 elegant hotel rooms, the hotel will also offer a modern restaurant and bar, 150 square metres of meeting space, a spa and a gym.

33 List 2011: Sweden’s hottest young technology companies
Which of today’s technology startups has what it takes to be one of tomorrow’s stock market giants? To find out, Affärsvärlden and NyTeknik magazines publish an annual list of “Sweden’s 33 Hottest Young Technology Companies”. On 9 February, they’ll be coming to Lindholmen Science Park, continuing the quest for exciting and innovative new companies. Submit your nomination by 21 February. Previous winners include Chalmers spin-off companies Xylophane and Lumenradio.

Lindholmen’s main building – a popular address
“Interest in the Lindholmen Science Park main building is huge. We expected it to take three years to fill all the vacancies. But 9300 square metres are already leased,” says Hans Kallin, Leasing Manager at Älvstranden Utveckling.
Despite the tough competition during 2010, the building filled with tenants at a much faster pace than expected. New corporate tenants include Syntronic, Brandon, Enfo and Dynagraph.

Göteborg International Film Festival at Lindholmen

As part of the Göteborg International Film Festival on 28 January - 7 February, Gothenburg Film Studios is arranging a concept they call “go.kinema” at Lindholmen.
Go.kinema will comprise creative and technical workshops, seminars, a film technology expo & market, and the amazing Open Set, where the audience is given the chance to participate in a live production.
