Mobile broadband for public security
The Security Arena has a special focus on high reliability in communications and exchange of information among authorities. A particular focus is opportunities for players in disaster management to utilise commercial broadband technology to ensure effective communication of information and situation awareness.
In 2009 we performed the first phase in an applied test and trial of live video for ambulance and rescue workers in the greater Gothenburg region. Called LiveResponse, the project is a joint venture between the Security Arena, the Viktoria Institute and SAFER.
